@@grstew4 It been done before. They flooded it out real bad since then the gauge cluster has a short because it got flooded, "brake light" stays on dim. Key on or off. The horn works when it wants due to contact corrosion and the steering wheel controls work when they want. Funny I had hardly any issues with it for months once i dried it out cleaned it up now its trashed in less than 80 miles of use. I was going to try to fix the horn issue but then I gave up. My time is better spent playing rocks in the driveway then making something nice just so careless can mess it up.

Do you have.... A manifold gauge set so you can test the pressures? If its 107 outside the high side pressures could be out of range and too high shutting down the AC system. Condenser could be clogged from a failing ac compressor. High high side pressures from a restriction Yea could be the relay I had a bad relay on a blower motor that worked when it wanted to. It worked when tested but then I busted it open. It was all burned. Worked when it wanted to. Knock it around worked. Changed it no issues for years I would swap the relay for the AC comp with another relay in the fuse block for something not important then drive around

@@GhettoWagon I do have gauges but haven’t hooked them up yet because below 107, the air is ice cold. So it’s not low and I think a clog would create a constant high pressure. The times that the air works, it’s when the compressor runs normal. The issue started when the compressor constantly cycles…on for 3 seconds…off for three seconds…and over and over. It been frustrating. I recently had the system serviced. There wasn’t any metal in the system so everything is in good shape except for this intermittent issue. I’ve had the van for 11 years and it’s always been an issue and no mechanic has figured it out so I’ve jumped on to get it fixed.

Only changed it 3x. Got flooded in the rain shorted it out. Changed it 3x in less than 1 year too

yea i try to keep one working on the side. Usually fix the broken one Starters too . i Polished it i might just throw a brush set on it see if it fixes it maybe the weird voltage was from the worn down brush not sure what caused it maybe it was riding sideways . I did have to reclock this alt when i installed it maybe it disturbed how the brushes were riding

this thing is cracked allover the popping sound caught me off guard but atleast I know what it is. Though something smashed the windshield going 2 mph. Looked allover for a chip then see more cracks. Some of these era trucks I drove ages ago had NO dash left This one was warped bad already since like 2000. I think the heat warp it had kept it from cracking earlier. Its 30 years old

It lived a long fight. LMC makes some china Repop dash for $500
